Maturazeitung
Overview
This two-page Maturazeitung layout was designed to highlight each graduate’s personality in a meaningful yet visually elegant way. Each spread combines a carefully styled portrait with their favorite drink on one page, and a tribute text written by a classmate on the other.
Design Goal
The goal was to create a warm and immersive presentation that goes beyond a typical yearbook. A soft blurred background subtly connects both pages, placing focus on the student while giving the spread a polished, editorial look. Typography, layout, and tone were kept consistent across all pages to ensure cohesion.
Approach & Inspiration
Initial layouts were developed in Figma to test structure, spacing, and responsiveness to different text lengths. Final design work, including print preparation and visual refinement, was done in Adobe InDesign. The concept took inspiration from magazine-style interviews and lifestyle spreads emphasizing individuality with a sense of calm and confidence.
